Guest access expiration ​

By default, the maximum expiration period for a guest user is 365 days to ensure regular review of external access to the organization. You can configure this expiration period according to your organization’s preferences.

Grace period

When the access expiration date approaches, the guest will enter a grace period, allowing the guest manager to extend or remove their access via a Teams notification. By default, Proactive Cybersecurity provides a 30-day grace period to the guest manager in order to make that decision. You can configure this grace period according to your organization’s preferences, with a proposed duration between 7 and 90 days.
