Shares management

Team’s notification frequency

Proactive Cybersecurity sends notifications about risky files through Teams on a regular basis. By default, these notifications are dispatched every Friday at 10 a.m. With the configuration system, it is possible to adjust their frequency.

The notification can be delivered:

  • Daily (the time is configurable),
  • Weekly (both time and weekday are configurable),
  • Monthly (the time and specific day of the month are configurable).

Sharing Duration Tolerance

When utilizing Proactive Cybersecurity, the lifespan of a sharing link affects its risk level. By default, a share with an initial low-risk indicator will transition to a medium-risk indicator after 15 days and subsequently escalate to high-risk after 60 days.

The following configuration system allows you to change the number of days necessary before the severity of a share changes.

High-risk shares silencing

It is possible that some shares within your organization are deemed risky, yet these shares might be essential. Proactive Cybersecurity provides the option to exclude these shares from notifications.

By default, the silencing system offers 3 duration choices: 30, 60, or 90 days.

The following configuration system allows you to activate the silencing system for your organization and modify the duration values if needed.

MS 365 Sensitivity labels

Proactive Cybersecurity provides integration with Microsoft Azure sensitivity labels, enabling precise assignment of risk levels to shares. To activate this feature for your organization, it is essential to have the sensitivity label system enabled on the Azure side.

Once activated, a correlation needs to be established between each of your labels and its impact level.

In order to use sensitivity labels, you must ensure that you have the correct licensing level for all participating MS 365 users. Please refer to Microsoft documentation to validate the required licensing level.
